Beijing on alert with two killed as heavy rain batters China

Heavy rain and flooding have hit northern China, particularly around Beijing, with Doksuri, a former super typhoon, leaving at least two dead and forcing the capital to issue flood and landslide alerts. The Yongding River has burst its banks, with debris carried downriver. Hundreds of bus services have been suspended and people have been advised to work from home.
