Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is set to return to the country next month after a four-year exile, will be treated according to the law, said caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi. Solangi emphasized that Nawaz had obtained permission from the court and the former government to go abroad after his jail sentence. The minister also stated that the Election Commission of Pakistan would be responsible for conducting fair and transparent elections, with delimitation of constituencies to be completed by November 30.
